Why looks my text strange?

The text in the email is difficult to read because the lines are overlaying? The text in some buttons has a different color in the email?

There can be different reasons for this, but they are easy to fix. Often it's one of these:

- Have you copied & paste the text?

When you copy & paste formatted text, it can happen that the styling or other code also gets into the editor in Symplify and breaks our code. Usually it happens when you copy headline and text together. Sometimes it's not that obvious in the editor, but in the preview.

When you have an eye for details, you see that the text element doesn't get highlighted when you click at it, that's also a sign that there is some strange code in this element.

To remove all the code that causes the design issue, you just click att the element and click "Remove formatting"

Or you always paste text with "paste and match the style". On a mac, use Option-Shift-Command-V and on windows Shift-Command-V

- Is there a line height in Skins? Have all style attributes a value?

When your email content looks strange in the editor or even our placeholder text overlays, check your Skins setting. Make sure that there is a line height set in Skins and the other style attributes have a value (in account settings) (more info)
