Database overview

All your recipient data is stored in a database which you use whenever doing a sendout or analyzing customer activity.

In this article you'll learn about what you can see and do on a recipient list:

If you're uncertain about the database structure in Symplify, please begin with this article.

By clicking the list name you’ll enter the specific list where you can overview your list statistics, search for specific recipients or do additional imports and export.

List types

There are different types of lists in Symplify which have different areas of use:

Normal list

All your contacts and contact data is stored in a normal list and this is the only list type that is available for sendouts. Add segments to target specific groups in your normal list.

Test list

Testing your sendouts is important and you then use a test list to do so. You can have as many test lists as you want, containing one or more contacts storing the data you want. There can be no more than 100 recipients in a test list.

Passalong list

A passalong list is an older method of storing contact data on recipients. This list type is not available for sendouts.

Lists overview

By clicking on Recipients in the main menu you'll end up on the overview for your list(s). Here you can see the name(s) of your list(s), the number of contacts, when the list was last updated and the list id.

To get detailed statistics of your recipient data you can click on the listname and from here you can check numbers and details for used clients, browsers, email domain usage and list attribute data breakdown (attribute data) for your different channels.
