Monitor (New UI)

Note: This article refers to functionality in the new Symplify UI.

If you're still using the old UI, click the link below to view the relevant article.

Learn how this was done in the old interface!

On Monitor you can overview your current and past account activity. You can access Monitor from the left-hand menu.

There is also a visual guide on the Monitor section available here!

All events that process any information towards your database will be visible from here. Initially you'll see the events Imports, Campaign sendouts, segment tests and segment exports. Over time more event types will be added. Your event is represented by a row on the tab in question. Depending on type of event and status you'll see different information on your event rows.

Monitor is divided into six status tabs:

  • All
  • Queued
  • In progress
  • Pending
  • Stopped
  • Done

Events can also be filtered by type

  • All
  • Campaigns
  • Tests
  • Exports
  • Imports

By default, the overview shows Status: All and Type: All, displaying all events regardless of their status or type. You can narrow the overview by selecting a specific status tab and event type.

For example, to view only pending campaigns, select Pending and Campaigns.

In the overview, you can also filter which informational columns you want to see. Click on the options button (three dots) and choose Column order/visibilityHere you will be presented with which columns you want to see. For more information, check out the video mentioned in the beginning of this article!

Note that on each status, there may be hidden events which you don't have access to view due to the permission group you're in. These hidden events may still affect your events.

Viewing a specific event

By clicking the name of a given event, a pop up will be shown with further details. It contains information such as how many contacts were included for the specific campaign, the name of the campaign, which project it was sent out within, to which database and the start time.

Here is an example of the details for an email campaign that is done:

For an email campaign that is under pending, you will see everything above plus a status bar and the option to stop the batch.

Here is another example, but this time for a segment export. It will show the name of the segment, which database the segment was run on and the start time. From here you can also download the segment.
