Dynamic web lets you build web pages, such as landing pages, sign-up forms, preference pages and event pages, without help from a developer. Pages can show each contact's own data and use your segments, so every visitor can see content made for them.
Where to find it
Go to Web > Dynamic web. A Dynamic web site holds one or more pages. To create a site:
- Click Create.
- Enter a Name and choose a Project.
- Click Create and edit.
The site opens on the Content tab, where you see its pages and can add more with Add page.
What you can do
- Build pages with text, images, buttons, videos, QR codes and forms. See Editing a Dynamic web page.
- Collect data: form answers are saved on the contact, so you can build sign-up, profile and preference pages.
- Add actions that run when a page loads or a form is submitted, for example send an email, redirect to another page or set an attribute. See Dynamic web actions.
Link to a page
Each page has a handlebar, for example {{pageUrl 3104 1}}, that you add to links in your emails and SMS. When a contact clicks the link, the page knows who they are, so it can show their data and save their answers.
A page also has a public URL. It only works when both Published and Allow Anonymous are turned on in the page settings, and visitors who use it are anonymous. Use the pageUrl handlebar when you link from Symplify messages.
