Edit a Web Push

This article explains how to build the content of a web push with blocks and widgets. To choose how and where the message appears on your website, see Web push basics.

Open the editor

In the settings for your sendout, click Go to Editor under Content. The preview is on the left, and the Content and Design tabs are on the right.

To save your content, click the back arrow at the top left and confirm with OK.

Blocks

A block holds one or more widgets. Click Add block on the Content tab to add one.

Each block row has three icons:

  • Funnel: add a segment to the block, so its content is only shown to some contacts. Click the funnel and choose Select segment. To remove it, click the funnel and choose Remove segment.
  • Three dots: duplicate or delete the block.
  • Three lines: drag the block to move it.

Widgets

Widgets are the content, such as text, images and videos. To add widgets to a block:

  1. Click Add widget in the block.
  2. Select one or more widget types. If you select several, they're added in the order you select them.
  3. Click Add.

Click a widget to edit it, and click Done editing when you're finished. You can also edit, duplicate or delete a widget from its three-dot menu, and drag it to another place with the three lines icon.

Text

Choose the style: Heading 1 or Text 1, and write the text.

Image

Choose Image 1 (Full width) for an image from border to border, or Image 2 for an image with space on the sides. Under Image URL, click Change to upload an image. To link the image, add the address under Link url.

Button/Link

Choose Link 1 or Button 1. Enter the text under Button/Link text and the address under Link url.

Video

Enter the address of the video under Video url, then set:

  • Player controls: show or hide the video's controls, such as pause.
  • Autoplay: choose On to start the video as soon as the message appears.

Note: If AI content is enabled on your account, the text and image widgets also have Generate AI text and Generate AI image.
